As an avid kayaker, I know that Rapid Creek and Pactola Reservoir are truly recreational gems. Rapid Creek offers some wonderful whitewater paddling. The canyon is unique and the best moving water in the Black Hills with something for everyone, from class 1 and 2 boogie water to impressive drops. Jenny Gulch and Bear Gulch are amazing places to paddle, see wildlife, enjoy some solitude in nature, or wet a fishing line.” - Justin Herreman |
